How to do a Dual D Handle Cable Lat Pull Down

  • Harder than a Prone Incline Cable Lat Pulldown as this uses both sides of the cables, so you are loading the weight independently on each side, which requires more stability.

  • Set the bench to between 30-45 degree angle

  • Set the cable to the highest setting for maximal range of motion

  • Set bench back around a bodylength from the cables again to get max ROM

  • Start with d handles palm facing upwards then rotate handles 45 degrees towards the body as you drive towards the hips

  • As you come back up, make sure you get the full stretch in the negative where the most muscle growth happens
