How to Perform Incline Cable Chest Flies

Some pointers:

  • Use cuffs - you can buy them in our ‘ALL THE GEAR NO IDEA’ section of the website. They allow you to bias the pectoral muscles more without the elbows or forearms getting involved too much within the movement

  • Set the bench to between 30-45 degree angle

  • Cables on the lowest setting, starting below and behind you so you start the movement in a pre stretched position and can get full range of motion in both the negative and the positive parts of the movements.

  • Alternate which arms you cross over with each time to ensure equal range of motion on both sides of the movement.

  • Slow and controlled throughout!
