How to Perform a Lat Pull Down
Always make sure your knees are fixed in the knee pads
Drive elbows into hips - only move the elbows, keep torso and shoulders still - retract scapula (pin shoulder blades back and down) before beginning each rep!
Use MAG attachments if you can, a shoulder width one will allow you to hit the lats properly - we will go through different attachments in another video
Don’t use torso momentum. Keep everything tight, pull shoulders back and drive elbows into hips
Make sure you extend arms all the way back up to get full range of motion otherwise you’re missing out on full extension on the way back up
