May 2021 (1) - Ellie Holmes

Here is one of my three clients of May. Ellie, who has already lost a stone, had a goal to pass her police fitness tests by the end of May, this was her initial six week short term goal, which included a bleep test, something which filled her with dread! She failed a few times, which got her really down, so we smashed a test out together and she bossed it. Since then she has passed two more practice tests. Today, she had the real test, and I am so happy to say...SHE PASSED! Not only did she pass, but she came into the gym straight after her fitness test, raring to go.

Ellie has really worked hard in the gym. Weight training and conditioning including short sharp runs, along with the lovely sled push and countless battle rope circuits have pushed her and prepared her for her fitness test. She still has 8 - 10 pounds to lose before she is at her target weight, but SHE FEELS FITTER AND MORE CONFIDENT, and this is so so much more important than what scales can tell you.

  • Scales don’t define who you are and your journey and progress
